Nettitude and ATvanGarde are expecting to offer an enhanced product portfolio and expand their GRC offerings in South-East Asia, particularly Singapore.

The two companies are aiming to combine their in-depth local market expertise and experience, to be able to offer a comprehensive suite of GRC and cyber security consulting across a wide range of industries.

The acquisition allows for both CREST-accredited organisations to capitalise on the increasing demand in South-East Asia for cyber security services.

According to Karen Bolton, Nettitude CEO, the acquisition is expected to be mutually beneficial.

"The risk landscape is changing so fast, and organisations need a trusted partner that can help them adapt, particularly to cyber security compliance, with laws and standards differing around the globe.

"By combining Nettitude's capabilities with those of ATvanGarde, we instantly improve our GRC offering in South-East Asia, particularly Singapore, further enhancing our reputation of being globally trusted cyber security experts," Bolton said.

The ATvanGarde team has over 25 years of experience in evaluating critical information infrastructure, use of international and local standards-based testing, and experience in the security assessment of IT and OT systems.

Andrew Ho, who has led the successful growth of ATvanGarde since its inception in 2018 is, aiming to ensure and improve secure operations for their clients.

"This exciting combination opens new markets for the organisation, especially in South-East Asia, where we will benefit from Nettitude's reach.

"For ATvanGarde, this acquisition supports our ambitious growth and serves our goal of ensuring the safe and secure operation and business continuity of our clients' enterprise systems effectively," Ho said.

Nettitude has also been part of LRQA since 2018, a global assurance provider operating in more than 160 countries and recognised by over 30 accreditation bodies worldwide.

Paul Butcher, chief executive officer of LRQA, added that cyber security is a key investment area for LRQA and welcomes the partnership.

"This deal will strengthen how we can help organisations to prioritise, manage and mitigate their cyber risks.

"Our clients are facing an increasingly complex cyber threat landscape, which is why our cyber security business is a key area of investment for us, and we are delighted to be welcoming ATvanGarde to the organisation; they have years of experience and an excellent reputation for delivering GRC cyber security consulting and solutions to their clients."

The acquisition was effective 1st August 2022, but no financial terms were disclosed.
