The cyber mission engineering and technical services provided by Leidos to US Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic "supports national security information warfare capabilities through sea, air, land, space, electromagnetic and cyber domains".

This includes support for the following:

  • Command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C5ISR);
  • Identity operations;
  • Enterprise information services; and
  • Space programs.

"We have provided our Navy customers with over 40 years of proven C4ISR systems engineering experience that enables warfighters to execute their critical missions for the nation," said Eric Freeman, Leidos C4ISR solutions operation manager.

"We will continue to expand upon our C4ISR work by leveraging this contract and other similar work for our defense customers."

Leidos has a proven history supporting C4ISR engineering programs for the US Navy, such as providing full life cycle systems engineering (integration, testing, training, cyber security) for the Distributed Common Ground System Navy (DCGS-N).

The company said the "Navy cyber engineering award enables the company to compete for an opportunity to continue its over two decades of support for the DCGS-N program as well as compete to support other important C4ISR and cyber programs".

The contract is multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, hybrid cost-plus fixed-fee for a five-year base, with two one-year option periods following.

The work will be performed in South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia and California.

Leidos is headquartered in Reston Virginia, with over 30,000 employees supporting "vital missions for government and commercial customers".
