Dynatrace appoints sales exec to drive ANZ expansion

A sales veteran has joined the software intelligence company’s leadership team, as part of a push to bolster its footprint in the region.

Dynatrace has appointed Hope Powers as vice president of sales for Australia and New Zealand.

Powers, who will be based in Sydney, has been tasked with leveraging 20 years of sales experience in the automotive, hospitality and technology industries to support the firm’s push to expand its regional presence, focusing on fostering closer engagement with ANZ channel partners and hyper scalers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Hope to Dynatrace. Her broad exposure to sales organisations across the globe and her breadth of leadership experience spanning multiple industries will be instrumental as we look to expand our support for enterprises as they go through their digital transformation journeys,” Maury Garavello, vice president of APAC at Dynatrace, said.

“We are committed to adopting a partnership mindset and collaborating closely with businesses so they can deliver reliable, high-performing services to their customers, even during challenging times.

Powers joins Dynatrace after 19 years at CA Technologies, most recently serving as senior vice president and managing director for Australia and New Zealand.

The new appointee also previously held senior sales and customer portfolio management positions for CA Technologies’ emerging markets, Asia-Pacific and Japan.
