Check Point and Microsoft announce AI-powered security collaboration

Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service to be added to Check Point’s Infinity AI Copilot.

Microsoft and Check Point have announced a new collaboration that the pair said will “supercharge” Check Point’s Infinity AI Copilot by adding Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service.

Check Point Infinity AI Copilot already uses AI to automate a raft of security tasks, reducing the workload of security teams while protecting organisations from even the most sophisticated cyber attacks.

The new enhanced version of Infinity AI Copilot uses Microsoft’s large language models, which deliver reduced administrative tasks, automated large-scale threat hunting, and AI-assisted security on any platform, whether it’s in the cloud, network, or workspace.

“Our collaboration with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service represents a significant leap forward in our mission to offer the most advanced AI-driven security solutions,” Eyal Manor, vice-president of product management at Check Point, said in a statement.

“By combining Microsoft’s AI expertise and tools with our deep understanding of cyber security across networks, clouds and devices, we are setting new benchmarks for what organisations can achieve in their battle against expanding cyber threats with limited IT resources.”

Anat Gil, partners lead, Microsoft Southeast Europe, said the collaboration is proof of Check Point’s commitment to making the best use of AI in cyber security solutions.
